Sydney, July, ‘Masterpieces of the Subcontinent’ is all set to be staged in Sydney on Sun 31 Jul 2022 at Pitt Street, Uniting Church, 264 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000. A landmark concert first of its kind features the musically gifted musicians of different nationalities coming from the subcontinent prominently from the music crazy Nepal. The concert is expected to highlight the memorable numbers and a distinctive stage vigour.

The Highlights of the Event

The “Masterpieces of the Subcontinent” show’s tagline is – what promises to be an unforgettable evening and an ‘awe-inspiring display of talent and virtuosity’. The talented musicians will perform to recreate the masterpieces by the legendary music maestros of the subcontinent such as R. D. Burman, Naushad, A. R. Rahman, Nati Kaji, Ambar Gurung, Fayyaz Hashmi and more.

The musical performance of distinction will showcase the traditional musical performances by the musicians representing different countries from the subcontinent. The musical group is coordinating their efforts to capture the fascinated attention of Sydney-based music fans of classical instruments.

The Reflection of the Representative from the Organiser

Ayşe Göknur Shanal, the voice lecturer in the music faculty of Excelsia College, is participating the “Masterpieces of the Subcontinent” concert in voice. She shared with www.nepaleseaustralian.com.au, “We are putting on a wonderful concert together with exceptionally talented Nepalese musicians, who are graduates of the College. The young and enthusiastic Nepalese International Students trained in classical instruments, Naresh Jirel on bansuri, Nirvana Bista on guitar, Bikram Dahal on bass and Utpal Kandel on tabla, are performing in the event, ‘a transcendental evening of music’. They will be playing the classical musical instruments to create yet melodious sounds and harmonies.”

She further said, “This is going to be an incredibly special concert and it would be amazing to have the attendance of the Nepali community. Hon’ble Consulate General of Nepal to NSW Deepak Khadka will also be joining us to promote the common musical experience.”

The organisers claim that it is going to be incredibly inspiring, joyous, emotional, and uplifting for everyone. The organisers said that the audience can get the ticket for $50. The price of Standard ticket for the students is $20 and there is free entrance for Children under 12 years.
