NSW Opposition Leader Chris Minns Extends Dashain Greetings to Nepalese Community

Sydney, October 13, NSW Opposition Leader Chris Minns has sent his warmest greetings to the members of the Nepalese community celebrating Dashain 2021 across Australia.

He states in the message that on behalf of NSW Labor he wants to extend the best wishes to the Nepalese community in NSW for peace, prosperity and good health during this joyous occasion.

It is very difficult time for all, and many would be unable to reunite with their family to celebrate the most important and longest running Hindu festival. He also expresses his thanks to the essential workers who have done a hard job for the last 18 months to keep all safe.

He appreciates the roles and services of the Nepalese community groups who looked after their community and communicated the essential information from NSW government. He hopes that because of the Nepalese community’s efforts, he and all concerned will be able to celebrate this occasion in person next year.
