Sydney, October 4, The Hon. Mark Coure MP Minister for Multiculturalism and Minister for Seniors has sent his warmest greetings to the members of the Nepalese community celebrating Dashain 2079 across NSW.

He states in the message, “I send my best wishes to the Nepalese community of New South Wales as you celebrate the festival of Dashain.”
The Hon. Mark Coure has served as the Minister for Multiculturalism and the Minister for Seniors in the Dominic Perrottet ministry since December 2021. He is also the member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Oatley for the Liberal Party since 2011. Significant numbers of the Nepalese population reside in St. George (Georges River Council and Bayside Council LGA).

He further said, “Durga certainly deserves veneration as she continues to inspire those from the Nepalese community and followers of Hinduism. She is a champion of fair conduct, a symbol of positive energy and a supporter of new endeavours. These are values that are embodied by our Nepalese community as vital contributors to the life and social harmony of our great multicultural State.”

He concluded, “May good always be victorious, and I wish you all a joyous, healthy and safe Dashain.”
