The gilded figures of Gods stolen from different parts of Nepal have been repatriated from the United States.
Among the repatriated statues of God were Standing Buddha that was lost from Kwaya Bahi, Lalitpur, Padmapani Lokeswora, Chaturmukhi Shivalinga (Panchadeval Temple, Pasupati), Uma Maheswori (Ga: Hiti, Lalitpur) and Nagaraja (Bhagawan Bahal, Naxal) to Nepal.
As informed, Uma Maheswora sculpture has been repatriated from the Denver Museum, while Chaturmukhi Shivalinga from the Art Institute of Chicago and the remaining three Images from the James & Marilynn Alsdorf Collection, USA.
DCM Manuel Micaller joined Minister Prem Bahadur Ale to welcome the 10th-century UmaMahswar from the Denver museum, the 6th-century Chaturmukhi Shivalingga from the Chicago Museum along w/ Nagaraja, Padmapani, & Shakyamuni Buddha statues back to their proper home in Nepal.
