International Everest Day: Sunday 29 May 2022

History was created on 29th May1953 when Sherpa Tenzing Norgay of Nepal and Edmund Hillary of New Zealand climbed Mount Everest, 29,029 feet above sea level.

To commemorate their achievement, Nepal decided to celebrate International Everest Day every year on May 29.

Federation of Nepalese Community Associations of Australia Incorporated FeNCAA will be celebrating this day starting from this year.
